It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to the first Hunt Business Alumni Newsletter. This serves as an important milestone for our college. Whether you graduated recently or many years ago, you continue to play an essential part in the Woody L. Hunt College of Business story. This newsletter is one of many ways to strengthen the lifelong connection between you and the college that helped shape your journey.

Our commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and service has not wavered since the college's founding almost 60 years ago. Our students continue to build on that legacy, earning competitive internships, leading research initiatives, engaging with our community, and preparing to make meaningful contributions in their professions. None of this would be possible without the strong foundation created by generations of alumni like you.
As we look ahead, our focus remains clear: expanding opportunities for students, strengthening partnerships with industry, investing in faculty excellence, and enhancing the student experience both inside and outside the classroom. We are also working to create more meaningful ways for our alumni to stay involved by mentoring our current students, delivering guest lectures in classes, participating in networking events, and attending regional gatherings for fellowship and support.
Your accomplishments inspire our current students. Your engagement fuels our momentum, and your continued connection ensures that the Hunt College remains vibrant, relevant, and forward-thinking.
I encourage you to stay connected, share your professional milestones, attend upcoming events, mentor a student, or reach out to reconnect. This is your college, and your voice and involvement matter deeply.
Thank you for being part of our community and for carrying the values of Woody L. Hunt College of Business into the world. I look forward to seeing you, getting to know you, and discussing the many ways you can help us build a better future for Hunt College students and graduates.
With appreciation and warm regards,
John Hadjimarcou
