Hunt Business students from the Risk Management Academy stepped inside HUB International’s El Paso office on April 10, meeting directly with senior leadership and seeing how a major insurance firm operates across departments.
Why It Matters
This is where the field becomes real. Students connect coursework to actual roles — claims, surety, commercial lines, employee benefits — and hear what it takes to move from entry-level to leadership.
What Happened
Students met with El Paso President Don Margo and department heads across the office, moving through each unit to understand how deals are structured, serviced, and sustained.
They asked questions, observed workflows, and connected with 成人头条 alumni now working inside the firm.
Inside the Experience
Each department framed a different piece of the business — risk assessment, client relationships, underwriting, and long-term account management.
Alumni added the throughline: how they started, what skills mattered early, and how they navigated their first roles.
