Student organizations provide an opportunity to engage in fun activities and provide service to the department; your involvement and contributions to an organization should be highlighted on your resume.

T The purpose of ACM-W is to support, promote, and empower women in computer science. We create a network of support for all women in Computer Science, Undergraduate, and ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ, as well as where we educate all students about the importance of equal representation in the Computer Science field.

ARTECS explores the fusion of art and computer science through hands-on workshops, creative projects, and coding!
CodeCore aims to provide students with practical experience in strengthening computer science fundamentals through peer-to-peer learning, practice sessions on CS1, CS2, and CS3 concepts, and study jams, coding games, and review workshops. The club helps students master core coding concepts early, build confidence for upper-level courses, and create a collaborative learning environment.
The CIC aims to provide students with practical experience on coding questions that they can expect in a technical interview. The club aims to improve students’ problem-solving skills through practice problems, mock interviews, technical workshops, and extracurricular presentations.
ColorStack is a supportive organization created to help Computer Science Students complete their degrees and gain rewarding technical careers focusing on professional and technical development in Artificial Intelligence.
Computer Science x Community Service (CS2) is an organization whose primary focus is to reach the underprivileged communities and schools within the city of El Paso, Texas. Founded on the conviction that anyone can do anything with the right resources; CS2 aims to provide those resources to the future generations and encourage them to pursue a higher education.
FOSS’s focus is on free and open-source software (FOSS), the backbone of modern tech infrastructure. Contribute, learn essential tools, and boost your resume through impactful projects. The club has weekly meetings and workshops on Git, Linux, and more.
Girls Who Code College Loops is a college community for women and non-binary students interested in tech and computer science. College Loops members gain access to exclusive and/or early career readiness opportunities, such as meeting with industry professionals & corporate partners or participating in Girls Who Code workforce programs.
The Google Developer Student Club at ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ (GDSC) is intended to provide dynamic training aimed at enhancing coding skills, problem-solving algorithms, and professional development skills to empower students and their communities. GDSC will host information sessions, hands-on workshops, and student-community collaborative projects centered around the latest in technology, all with the support of Google and Google Developers.
