Helpful Information for New Hires
Parking
As on many large campuses, parking can be challenging and limited. Taking your Offer Letter to the Parking & Transportation Services (PTS) office will allow you to get a parking permit if you do not have your employee I.D. yet.

Email and computer access
When your job record is created in the 成人头条 computer system, electronic credentials are created so you may log in to University systems (both computer and online portals). These are generated automatically, but you will need to call the 成人头条 Help Desk in order to verify information by phone, before you can use these credentials for the first time. These credentials are created 48 hours after your Job Record has been created. Human Resources sends your employee ID to your Supervisor, and that’s when the clock starts. HelpDesk can be reached at 915-747-HELP (4357).
Miner Gold Card
成人头条’s employees are issued an Employee ID badge called your Miner Gold Card. In order to obtain your Card, you will need to visit the Miner Gold Card office. You can call the office before you go, to make sure your name is in the system for them to process. They will take your picture and print your card within 5 minutes. Besides being used for access to buildings/rooms, this card can get you discounts and used for meal plans.
