Travel Abroad Grants and Scholarships
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers funding and programs for students, faculty, researchers and others in higher education to go to and from Germany.
Boren Scholarships and Fellowships provide opportunities for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to become more proficient in the cultures and languages of world regions critical to U.S. interests, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Maximum awards are $20,000 for the Boren Scholarships and $30,000 for the Boren Fellowships. In exchange for funding, recipients commit to working in the federal government for a minimum of one year.
CIEE Global Scholar Grants
CIEE Global Scholars are students who make the most of studying abroad by living and learning in three cities in one semester. Equally exciting, these students are eligible for up to $10,000 in CIEE Global Scholar grants to help make their study abroad dreams a reality.
Awards: Up to $10,000 per student
Bowman Travel Grants
For students who want to pursue study abroad in Africa, Asia Pacific, the Caribbean, or Latin America, and who demonstrate financial need based on EFC
Awards: Up to $2,000 per student
CIEE/MIUSA Access to the World Scholarship
CIEE and Mobility International USA are partnering to give more U.S. college students with disabilities the chance to study abroad! .
Provides awards for US undergraduate students who are receiving federal Pell Grant funding at a 2-year or 4-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide. Based on financial need. Sponsored by the US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
Level: Undergraduate
Award: Up to $5,000 (plus additional bonus funds available to Gilman Scholarship recipients only)
