³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Athletics announced a collaboration with The Jank to create the Miner Magic Gourmet BBQ Sauce, a Hatch Chile jalapeño barbecue sauce. The first 50 ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Bookstore customers who purchase the sauce at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3 will receive a free t-shirt.

Carney brings extensive leadership experience in advanced manufacturing from his recent role as manager of the Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation at Sandia National Laboratories.

‘Biodiversity Hotspots Reimagined’ Exhibit Opens at Centennial

The ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Biodiversity Collections collaborated with graphic design students to celebrate the most biodiverse places on Earth, bringing art and science together through stunning visuals and inspiring conservation stories.

Celebrate Faculty Work at Rubin Center Biennial

5-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4 | Rubin Center for the Visual Arts

The exhibit celebrates the diverse and creative practices of the artists who teach and work in ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ’s Department of Art. This FREE exhibit features a range of media, including drawing, sculpture, ceramics and large-scale murals. The opening reception is 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4.

Cheer on the Miners in ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ’s iconic Sun Bowl Stadium. The Miners and Skyhawks are slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff. Students can claim free tickets .

³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Volleyball Crowned Sacramento State Invitational Champions

The Miners defeated UC Davis Sunday afternoon to close out the Sacramento State Invitational. The Miners finished the weekend undefeated (3-0) and were crowned the tournament champions.

³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Names Margaret Erickson Vice President of Human Resources

Erickson will also serve as ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ’s Chief Human Resources Officer. Erickson most recently served as Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer at North Carolina State University, where she provided guidance and support to more than 10,000 faculty and staff.
