M.S. in Aerospace Engineering
The M.S. in Aerospace Engineering at ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ prepares students in the areas of Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Aerostructures, Aerospace Dynamics and Controls, and Aerospace Systems Engineering and Design.
Unique program focuses include defense, small satellites, propulsion systems, exploration vehicles, autonomous systems, and hypersonics.

Admission Requirements
Applicants are expected to have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Depending on the selected area of concentration, students may need to complete deficiency undergraduate coursework.
- Official transcript with four-year baccalaureate degree posted, from the degree-granting institution, and copies of transcripts for all other relevant upper-division and graduate work at accredited U.S. institutions or equivalent work and degrees at foreign institutions
- Statement of Purpose
- 2 Letters of Recommendation
- English proficiency scores required for applicants from non-English speaking institutions

Financial Aid
A major source of financial aid is through Research Assistantships — competitive positions funded by research grants and contracts. A limited number of Teaching Assistantships is also available. Send your résumé to the AME Department to be considered for open opportunities. Additional financial support includes:
- Scholarships, training stipends, and fellowships
- Need-based assistance for Texas residents, U.S. citizens, and permanent residents
- Employment through the Cooperative Education Program
- On-campus and off-campus positions for some students
- Resident tuition for citizens of Mexico demonstrating financial need
